Measuring Baseboard
It isn�t possible to properly cut and install baseboard without measuring it first. Simply take a measuring tape and measure the older baseboard you take off. If that isn�t available measure the walls.
Then measure the new baseboard and use a pencil to mark the places where you will want to cut. Then cut the baseboard, if you�ve had experience cutting other kinds of wood this should be the simplest part of the process.
Always be very careful with the measurements because you don�t want to end up cutting the baseboard again. Electronic measuring devices can be of some help when measuring baseboard.
